In some ways, this is a heartbreaking post to read. Yet, by my confession of faith, I do not believe that heartbreak is the final word. I believe in the resurrection and the life. You see bones? I see peacemakers. Individuals woven into community with sinew and flesh and skin, alive and enlivening this good creation. Please share this call. "What would happen if we in the Christian church developed a new nonviolent peacekeeping force of 100,000 persons ready to move into violent conflicts and stand peacefully... Together the Christian church could afford to train and deploy 100,000 persons in a new nonviolent peacekeeping force. The result would not be utopia, or even the abolition of war.
