In states that have agreed to expand Medicaid eligibility, low-income Americans are getting health treatment they need and saving us all money by staying out of the emergency room. In states where no one has shown any interest in their situation, theyre still struggling badly with medical bills and not getting the care they need. We can start addressing the needs of our people or continue to blame them for not being rich.
