In tears this morning at GIME already. A desperate mom comes in with chronic pain. Has been seeking medical support since March of 2013. The process has included 2 physical therapists, a chiropractor, a back surgeon, her primary care, acupuncture, x-rays, MRIs, orthotics, cortisone shots, pain management and NO RESULTS!!! She also received ridicule, condescending statements and the answer that there is nothing more we can do for you. This has not only cost her $10,000 out of pocket, but it has cost her mental health, time, family strain and borderline loss of hope. Gratefully she went into our local library and was told to come to GIME. Within one hour she was given answers as to why, how and what to do. For $199 she discovered that her jaw and her neck were working for her glutes and her low back creating chronic hip pain and tightness. She learned that her diet was creating inflammation and muscle wasting and her previous therapy exercises were making the problem worse. She left with a big hug, a kiss, a gift of 2lbs of grass fed beef and a plan to ensure she gets well! We are so grateful to have access to a community of amazing health practitioners. If her body does not achieve exactly what she deserves, we will call in special forces :>)
