In the 18 years Ive lived in Texas, here is what Ive learned about Texas weather forecasts, even with all the sophisticated equipment and high-tech radar -- 1) Add 5 to 10 degrees to the forecasted temperature 2) Reduce the forecasted rain chances by at least 50% 3) Weather professionals like to talk about the unseasonably warm temps - every year, like its some sort of surprise that every summer theres a drought - and its HOT!
