In the 30s, the appeasement policy followed by the Nevile - TopicsExpress

In the 30s, the appeasement policy followed by the Nevile Chamberlain government in UK allowed Hitler and the Nazis the time and impetus needed to launch a wholescale attack on Europe, and precipitating the need for a second World War. The recent UK governments and their toothless approach to handling the rise of extreme fundamentalist Islam in UK reminds me of that. British youths make up a significant portion of ISIS/ISIL, we have people like Baroness Warsi, Roshonara Ali and Lutfur Rahman involved in politics who do have links with extremists, the law enforcement was too slow to react to Anjem Choudary (although he has been arrested, it was quite late in my opinion), the government refuses to extradite a known Islamist war criminal in Chowdhury Mueenuddin Ahmed to face his impending death penalty in Bangladesh for atrocities committed in 1971. No wonder we have idiots like the one in this video be emboldened enough to spout such rhetoric. Sort it out, UK. Your policy of appeasement towards radical Islamists will not end any better than Chamberlains towards the Nazis did, in fact it probably will be worse. For this time, the enemy is already inside your country.
