In the 6 years Ive had Chase my identity has been stolen 3 times, all in situations that completely wiped my account. For the past 2 days I have been in and out of branches and on and off the phone trying to prove that all my purchases in California are me (you would think updating my address to California would be proof enough) and trying to get them to stop canceling my debit card to which their solution is always reactivating my card and confirming my address. This time reactivating it only lasted 15 minutes and theyve already canceled it again. At this point it almost seems like thieves have an easier time accessing my account than I do. I think it may be time to switch banks.
