In the House of Blues today , we know a little of Pink Anderson, who was born February 12, 1900 and died on 12 October 1974 , in Lawrence , the state of South Carolina , USA. His real name was : Pinkney Anderson , and died at the age of 74 , a victim of cardiac arrest . During his life he met a Dr. Kerr s Remedy Indian company , in which the monitored throughout their treatment because the musician had heart problems at a young age . He was part of the movie The Bluesmen in some scenes , learned to play guitar and blues in general , with the musician Simmie Dooley , companion of many horas.Em his era , Pink Anderson perform , compose and make music, was not easy and had very little resources , but certainly left their mark as some fans Syd Barrett ( lead guitarist and founder of Pink Floyd , which was -book fan ) . It is little wonder that the name Pink Floyd came from two great blues musicians : Pink Anderson and Floyd Council . His musical styles were : Piedmont blues and country blues. Pink Anderson , and even played guitar harmonica and learned a lot about the harmonic part of the song . Our tribute goes to him . Rest in Peace , Pink Anderson !
