In the New Testament of the Bible, the Romans controlled Israel(Judea, Galilee, etc...). The Jews were wanting their Messiah to come to free them from Roman rule. They thought HE would come as a warrior and lead an army of troops to destroy them! Not so! JESUS came to earth as the authority and power of GOD, yet a simple man at the same time to free people from the grip and sting of eternal death which is sin as well as an example to us on how we should live and treat one another! We have enemies and people who hate us or dislike us for whatever reason. When JESUS comes into your life, HE becomes your warrior, your Messiah, and takes the sin out of your life...giving you eternal life. HE may not eliminate your enemies all the time, but HE will change you so you can see your enemies and foes the right way! GOD loves everybody...including your enemies and your haters who love to sip on some haterade! The Word of GOD says to love your enemies and pray for those persecute and despitefully use you! The heart of GOD is love...love for us! HE is faithful and just to forgive us...as well as your enemies! No big Is or little yous in HIS eyes! GOD is no respecter of persons! We can all go to HIS throne of grace boldly and obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need...Hebrews 4:16!!!
