In the Old Testament,there are several references to women being so very important,holding the highest positions of God the Fathers council, as it were. This gift, I found this morning: Wisdom 9: 9 And thy wisdom with thee, which knoweth thy works, which then also was present when thou madest the world, and knew what was agreeable to thy eyes, and what was right in thy commandments. 10 Send her out of thy holy heaven, and from the throne of thy majesty, that she may be with me, and may labour with me, that I may know what is acceptable with thee: 11 For she knoweth and understandeth all things, and shall lead me soberly in my works, and shall preserve me by her power. In the New Testament, God asked another woman to be the saving grace and with Her genuine love of the Father and His precepts. Mary answered. May it be to me as you have said and She became the Mother of the most Holy Son. Without Mary, everything changes dramatically. Without this woman, the Son is not our savior,but God knew She would answer as She did as She was as close to Him, already, as the Angel Gabriel who came to Her. There is nothing on the face of this earth like our Mothers. Be ever thankful that women are so generous of their own selves, giving in ways that we men can never understand.
