“In the beginning God…” Genesis 1:1 – 31 (KJV) For creation to be ‘very good’, it had to begin with God, and unless God begins our project with us and work with us, we will never get true success; who amongst you would want greatness and not have God by your side, you’ll crash like a pack of cards. Commit your work to the Lord, and then your plans will succeed, Proverbs 16:3 (NLT). In Genesis, the Bible says, the whole earth was without form, shape, was empty and void of life, but the interesting thing about this story is that it didn’t start neither did it end like that, it started thus: ‘in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth, And the earth was without form, and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, let there be light and there was light… and God saw everything that He had made and behold, it was very good…’ Gen. 1:1-3, 31 (KJV). Even though the earth was without form and shape, as long as its creation started with God, it was sure to end a perfect success. We make plans on our own and probably forget to or intentionally don’t include God in our plans and then we struggle to achieve any feat, hey! It all begins with God, your plans, your dreams, your visions, all of it. When the earth was in the process of creation, “GOD SAID, LET THERE BE…” and it was so, we have refused to allow “God say” in our lives. We may gather our thoughts, but it is the Lord that gives the right answer. You don’t know how your future is and may plan on something that doesn’t look like your future, God only know your future, and you must let Him show it to you. He has watched the video tape of your life before; He knows everything about you, your pains, your hurts, your guilt, and your weaknesses, everything about you. You need God more than you need air to breathe; it all begins with Him. Just faith, patience and total surrender to Him, is all you need. Do you realize that if the earth’s creation had not begun with God, it would have not even existed in the first place, worse if it had begun and somewhere along the line, God was left out its creation, it would have remain formless, empty and void; same will be the fate of any man/woman who refuses to begin his/her day, life, plans, etc. with God. One of the differences between you and God is that you are going to your future and God, He’s been to your future. Ready writter.
