In the book of Genesis we have the account of how Adam and Eve when they realized their nakedness they were ashamed of being exposed and were ashamed to enter into Gods presence uncovered. We are living in a time today where people have no shame. In the natural we are living in a generation where people feel it is better to dress down than it is to dress up. There was a time when people took pride in putting on a good suit or dress. Today people wear next to nothing and feel it is ok. They often dont see their own nakedness. In the spirit, it is our sins that undress us. We have become so blind to sin that we dont know that we have sinned therefore we dont know that we are naked. You can practice evil so long that you can no longer tell the difference between what is right and what is wrong. When we sin, we strip ourselves of our covering making us unworthy to enter into the presence of the Lord. It is not easy to grab hold of the Tree of Life. We cant come to the Lord any kind of way. When Aaron was consecrated, he had to wear a specific robe to preach and usher in the presence of God. We must be ashamed of our sins. Too often we find ourselves trying to justify our sin by trying to change the Scripture to fit our wants or claiming that grace gives us permission to freely do wrong. The church must take a stand and not conform to this world. We must cover ourselves in repentance, in the armor of God, in the blood of the Lamb before we try to enter into the presence of God. We need to get back to honoring and esteeming the Lord to the point that we should be ashamed to enter Gods presence if we arent coming clothed in holiness. -Attorney Wilson
