In the context of the project aiming at preventing the eruption of electoral violence and conflict in Southern African countries through the SADC-ESN network of civil society organisations, Mathieu Merino, ECES Electoral Researcher and Eva Palmans, ECES Senior Electoral Advisor, are delivering two Need Assessment Missions in Tanzania and Mauritius respectively. ECES experts are currently meeting with political and electoral stakeholders both from the international community and the civil society with the aim of assessing the capacity of the SADC-ESN network in preventing and managing election related violence and conflict and their needs in terms of capacity building.
