In the early 19th century, mediumship was in full swing. From table turning, to automatic writing, to talking to the dead these people made tons of money off of people. Many were exposed and convicted of false mediumship, a crime that i believe should be in full swing today. If you are not well aware most mediums are a scam unless they are crazy enough to think they are actually talking to dead people. I know this personally because i can do it myself. It is called cold reading, reading body language and letting the victim (as i like to call it) do all the talking and filling in the blanks. Ive seen it over and over again and its really sad when you see someone crying over their child, parent, or spouse and all you can do is feel sorry for them because you know its a scam. The twisted thing is i could walk around and pretend im a medium too and make a ton of money because i know the tricks of the trade but i have a heart. Id rather inform you so that you can have and more educated opinion before giving your money to people. NOT ALL Mediums are scams though. For example the Parrys have an extraordinary gift and if you have not seen them in action you can also check them out on youtube.
