In the final hours counting down till my fight tonight I cant help - TopicsExpress

In the final hours counting down till my fight tonight I cant help but reflect on my life and choices leading up to this point. I have such a profound sense of gratitude toward all the positive (and negative) influences that have shaped me into who I am today throughout my life as a mixed martial artist. Its been an emotionally and physically fulfilling experience. I get to push myself everyday to accomplish my goals and improve, which is something everyone should strive for with whatever their endeavors may be. Ill be honest here, this training camp and weight cut have been the most difficult in my career. Never in my 9 previous fights have I ever battled myself so mentally to the point of wanting to quit. I started this camp at 207 lbs and I had to really fight through the last 15lbs of the cut. But with the love, support, and encouragement of my family and teammates I was able to persevere. The hardest part is over now everyone, now its time for fun. I just have to say thank you all one more time before the war. Thank you to my sponsors for the support. Thank you to my friends, fans, and family for the love and encouragement. Thank you to my beautiful, amazing wife for her love, support, and help with the diet (couldnt have done it without you baby!) Thank you to my teammates for pushing me to be better. I love you all! Now lets go do work boys.....TEAM BLACKOUT!!!
