In the interests of full disclosure, this article makes the claim that certain revelations came to light in the state[ of Israel]s legal response to the High Court of Justice justifying its request to demolish the residences of the three suspected terrorists families. Those revelations include the claim that after interrogating one of the 500+ people arrested, he confessed to being a Hamas operative who had directed the three murderers/kidnappers to commit the crime of kidnapping three teens back in June. That kidnapping was used as a basis for arresting over 500+ Palestinians, and lead to an escalation in hostilities between Hamas and the State of Israel that culminated in the current conflict, during which over 1500 people have been killed. A number of news outlets, including Al Jazeera, earlier pointed to the likelihood that a cell of Hamas located in Hebron, that has a history of acting against the interests of the Gaza branch of Hamas, was likely involved with the kidnapping, though it was not clear how involved any organization was.
