In the last 11.5 hours... I woke up late, missed my train, was driven by the master driver Alena to one of the next stops, arrived as the train pulled in, got to work, saw a man dressed up as Hugh Heffner walk around the circle with a blow up doll bunny on each arm, had a conference call, became embroiled in a rescue pull from a shelter in OH, reached out to multiple contacts, had an exit interview with an intern, made more calls re the rescue, ate a sort of healthish lunch, manned the front desk when a coworker had to leave unexpectantly, settled the rescue pull (yay) and set up a different rescue transport for the way home (why not?), made it to union (I remembered where my car is!), found amazing peach iced tea..... and am now sitting down! Sounds like a normal day to me! How was your Friday?
