In the last 20 years many things have happened... Cell phones have turned into smart phones, Cassettes, turned into CDs turned into streaming music players (read smartphones), there have been 4 presidents, an economic collapse, 20 Super Bowl Champions, 20 MLB World Champions, 18 Stanley Cup Champions, 4 world cups, 4 Winter Olympics, 4 Summer Olympics, SARS, Swine Flu, Bird Flu, umpteen movies, even more songs (although for the life of me, I cannot believe you say the words black and yellow in a song 50 times and you become rich!) New ways to communicate have evolved... Twitter, Instagram, MySpace, FaceBook, SnapChat... and all of the others. You could say that the only constant during this time has been Death and Taxes... well youd be wrong. You see for me, in my humble little world, Ive had the honor and joy to have Angela Navarrette Duran by my side. Through the ups and downs, the good times and the bad, through sickness and health. When I have been down and felt defeated, she has been there for me to pick me up, dust me off, and push me back out there for another round. When I look into those warm chocolate pearls she has for eyes, I see forever. When my name passes through her soft lips, I still get a chill down my spine, like the first time she said it. She isnt perfect, but she is perfect for me. I love her with all of my heart, and it grows a little more everyday. I love you Angela Navarrette Duran, and even though our anniversary was a couple of days ago, I cant wait to go through the next 20 years with you... I may have to write all the new things down because Im pretty sure I wont be able to remember all of it.... except the most important thing... my live with my beautiful bride!
