In the last week we have witnessed a democracy run as a private club and the people running in all directions in panic ! The most Important issue at the moment is the opposition to the new town as this matter has been perused without public consent and we are at the 11th hour trying to stop it ! I feel vital information as regards to this huge development has been wilfully and very carefully concealed from the public to enable easy ride ! Just like OIL to the Americans , to a minority big land owners this win fall has been long waited ! Some who are in charge of the wagon has turned a blind eye expecting a pat in the back ! Now people have raised concerns over this matter to try and slow down the planning process so they can have their say ! This matter needs publicity in a big way as MOST in this village are ignorant of FACTS or not INTERESTED in their own back yard ! I will post this message on all WATERBEACH web pages including the WPC web page who has sadly not responded to my first message ! We are like the LET down at a blind date ! All on our JACK JONES ! So everybody in these groups , forget the differences in the past and UNITE now to save ourselves ! We must also ask the WPC to appoint an liaison officer who is available 24/7 who can answer questions from the public in a civil manner ! We must ask WPC to release the file regarding the pending litigation and legal cost claims BEFORE THE ELECTION so man on the street like me can understand our plight !
