In the midst of a recent event in the Rapid City area let me take this time to make a pledge, in the best way I know how - through music. Suicide, even witnessed once in a lifetime is not okay. Im sorry to each person who felt that was the only option - to take there life. The thought that you felt no one understood or you couldnt talk to someone makes me feel extremely sad. But I will say this, Im here. For anyone that thinks they cant talk to someone when theyre down, Im here. If you have a bad day or at your breaking point, Im here. If you just want a friend at 4 in the morning, Im here. Ive witnessed great friends and classmates and coworkers commit suicide. Suicide needs to stop and all I can do is hopefully be a better person, not only for myself but for other people. Ive been blessed with an amazing family and support system. I hope that I can be that for another person and see them through all there successes and triumphs. Let me also take this time to say thank you to my support system and family. I love you guys!
