In the midst of all the posts about the golf outing, i wanted to - TopicsExpress

In the midst of all the posts about the golf outing, i wanted to share this. When caleb was first diagnosed with Angelman Syndrome, we read all that we could, so we knew what to expect. We read that Caleb may never walk unassisted due extreme ataxia that many with AS suffer from. When Caleb began walking unassisted, but consistently, on October 19, 2012, he was very unsteady. I remember looking out our back window at this creek behind our house. I saw all the rocks and the uneven terrain. In my mind and my heart, i came to terms with the fact that I would always hold calebs hand while he was playing in the creek. Today, although still challenged by his balance disorder, he proved what an overcomer he is. And i thanked God for reminding me that i can never predict what caleb will accomplish.
