In the morning my German guests travel to the U.P. on the next leg of their tour. Nora and Alex are such lovely young women; it has been an absolute pleasure to be their host. The concert by the Alzey-Worms group today was BEYOND description, but if someone asked me to rate it on a scale of 1-10, I would honestly say 100. I wish I could go with them and hear it again and again. I will miss my new friends, but they know they have an open invitation to come back anytime. If you ever get the opportunity to be a host family for a group like this, please jump at the chance. The rewards of: forming new friendships, supporting the universal language that is MUSIC, and simply showing young people real America is beyond measure.
