In the old testaments, when God orders the destruction of a city, women, children, animals, are sometimes all affected. That may be hard to grasp by both Christians and non-Christians, but that doesnt make God evil. You see, when the people in the city were all extreme sinners, worshiping different gods, committing atrocious acts, their children will undoubtedly grow up to be just like them. The children had no chance to ever be good because of the parents evil act it is not Gods fault that those childrens had to die, it is the evil parents faults. God, the giver of life, has all the right to take that away because our souls or life belongs to God not us.
