In the past 24 hours, EVERYTHING has changed... All because of the power of PRAYER, FAITH, and LOVE!!! Emmett has been such a champ and tolerating everything so well... No signs of a strep infection WHATSOEVER. So, after much deliberation and a major conference between the doctors here at Hoag and the head of neonatal disease at CHOC... They have concluded that Emmetts initial sample (and hence diagnosis) was contaminated. The fluid in his lungs was not due to strep. He has no signs of illness whatsoever. And... WE GET TO TAKE HIM HOME TOMORROW MORNING. Friends, if you didnt believe in miracles before... I hope you do now. God is AMAZING. All it takes is mustard seed faith to move MOUNTAINS. I can not begin to thank you for your prayers, love, and BEAUTIFUL support. It blows my mind that people around the world have been praying for MY son. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being a part of our miracle.
