In the past I have been restricted by either myself or other factors in selling gear & products I believe in. The quandary between reviewing a piece of kit and selling it made me feel slightly uncomfortable, even though having that exposure allowed me several unique advantages, Tactical Clip can testify to that ;) But this patch by James R Cain III, Maurice Gavan and John McConnell is something else. Its not because its done by some very good peoples that I have gotten to know well, its not because its an epic design or because of its outstanding construction and pedigree, which is very high, it is because this is my first foray into selling a product I believe in, within an industry I am passionate about. This is not just a patch this is my first step down a new path. Now I am not looking to be a super tactical retailer or universal exclusive distributor nor am I assuming that this is all straight forward, easy and risk free but from the little success I have experienced with this simple product (sold 10 out of 20 patches in 24hrs) I am more prepared to start to explore more products that I believe in and I know will hit a mark with the wider community. Dont panic Scott Allan I will not become what we dread hearing ;), not that I would compete against you anyway brother and you know I will always have your back. I wish to earn some monies, fund my passion further of reviewing gear and hopefully help some good friends out along the way as well as provide good, solid products to a wider audience this side of the pond. So I thank you Mr Gavan, you have unknowingly become the enabler of greater things to come I hope and allowed me to shake some of the concerns and negative preconceptions I had from that past and drop kick them into touch. Now I say bring on the end of March as thats when its going to kick off properly *insert smiling demonic emoticon but not sure how to do that as I only know smile & wink face*.
