In the presidential media declaration of Goodluck Jonathan, and an attempt in depending or campaigning for Jonathan. Doyin Okupe (aka Bastard!) told the audience that Buhari/Osibajo and APC want to take Nigeria back to the 80s and he asked, Do you want the Nigeria of the 80s? And I want to answer that question. The answer is YES!!!, But like seriously??? Doesnt Doyin Okupe know that in the 80s, we slept with our doors open without fear? Doesnt Doyin Okupe know that in the 80s, the naira was almost equivalent to the dollar? Doesnt Doyin Okupe know that in the 80s we had functioning refineries?? Doesnt Doyin Okupe know that in the 80s the price of fuel was almost free?? Doesnt Doyin Okupe know that in 80s, Generators were something we distantly heard about?? Doesnt Doyin Okupe know that in the 80s, religious bigotry never existed?? ....the questions are open ended, the goodies of the 80s are endless. May God return the Nigeria of the 80s, precisely that of 83-85. Ameen!
