In the same way that drones create more people who hate the US, this type of behavior creates more people who distrust the police and by extension, the entire system. This alienation enables the idea of Anarchism as viable alternative to statism. It creates the soil we need to spread. Were I a statist, I would take the abuse of any citizen at the hands of a state authority figure very seriously. If justice is served, they would be treated exactly like a citizen would be treated for like behavior, plus a severe enhancement (X2 for misdemeanors, X3 for felonies. You can only kill them once.) for the damage done to the credibility of the state. Aint gonna happen. Anarchism is the only practical solution. Authority is irrelevant to doing the right thing, except as a circumstance that must be dealt with, like weather and terrain.
