In the side event relating to the 12th COP CBD held in Republic of Korea, the India Business & Biodiversity Initiative (IBBI), launched the publication “Business and Biodiversity in India: 20 Illustrations”. The report features initiatives of 20 companies across diverse sectors – mining, construction, manufacturing, IT, finance, energy, chemicals and agri-business – in biodiversity management within their operations and through their CSR activities. The IBBI signatories ITC Limited and Tata Steel imited presented their initiatives in conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity at the side event.
