In the soul realm,transference works merely through the power of suggestion. The world uses it. People under hypnosis can be influenced greatly by what is said to them. Hypnotherapy is accepted as means of medical treatment;however,as a believer,you should be reluctant to give anyone that much control over any part of your being. A hypnotist gives suggestions over which you have no conscious control and which you may not even remember. If you want to deal with your soul,it would be better use autosuggestion. Go into a period in meditating upon the Lord and repeat to yourself what you want until it reaches the depth of your soul consciousness. Do not place yourself in the hands of some man who may not even be a child of God and who may give you many harmful suggestions. In that case the power of transference would not be good.
