In the spirit of this sessions scene study theme of Mystery, Sci-Fi and Thrillers, heres one of our favorite movie scenes that fits with all three genres: the bike chase scene from E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. While we cant have a bike/car chase scene in class, the scenes well be working on must have the same commitment & urgency that you see in these young actors faces. They BELIEVED what they were seeing & what they were doing, and gave it the real-life sense of urgency needed. There are very few lines in this scene, but their faces tell it all.
