In the story of the youth, Allah did not mention anything regarding their names, ethnicity, location, era, or any other such information; but what He mentioned was their duʿā. So don’t neglect duʿā, for it is the basis of major changes in life: “When the youths retreated to the cave and said, ‘Our Lord, grant us mercy from Yourself and facilitate right guidance for us from our affair.’” [Al-Kahf 18:10]
