In the strange otherworld of Nigerian politics, it really pays to be clueless. If you are not naturally so, as is often alleged of our President, cluelessness may be a very good habit to cultivate. Here is why. When the third term agenda of OBJ was dealt a mortal blow back in 2006, he sought an afterlife for his megalomania by handpicking candidates who were not likely to question his dictat from behind the veil in far away Otta farms. He chose two people, who at first glance appeared to fit the requirements of a would-be puppeteer: one half-dead and one brain-dead candidate. Neither of them delivered, and now we are reaping the fruits.
