In the wake of the not guilty verdict in the Zimmerman trail, - TopicsExpress

In the wake of the not guilty verdict in the Zimmerman trail, people are raggin’ on the case the prosecution put on. I admit it had its weak points, but I submit that with a virtually all white jury no way they were going to convict George Zimmerman no matter what kind of case the prosecutor’s put on. The prosecution proved Zimmerman was a liar from his own mouth. He initially told police that he was driving to a grocery store which means he was not on neighborhood watch. Who goes to buy groceries with a fully-loaded semi-automatic firearm with a round in the chamber? I wouldn’t want to shop there. Zimmerman told Sean Hannity he’d never hear of “Stand Your Ground,” yet the instructor of a Criminal Litigation class Zimmerman took testified that “Stand Your Ground,” was one of the topics covered and Zimmerman got an ”A” in the class so he must have been paying attention. Prosecutor’s demonstrated that it was impossible for Trayvon to get to Zimmerman’s gun from a holster inside his waistband wearing a jacket while straddling him sitting on his chest “raining down blows” on him covering his nose and mouth trying to suffocate him all while banging his head twenty-five times against the concrete sidewalk. Not even Superman could pull that off. This verdict proves that racism is alive and well in America in general and Florida in particular.
