In the wake of todays date, I have to share this testimony because I have to remember there is always a good in every situation. I challenge EVERYBODY, no matter how hard something hits you, to always give it over to God and let him handle it. Losing my father has been one of the tough times in life I have endured that has allowed me to be a willing witness on Gods goodness. Ill give some examples: 1. I went to Starbucks one day, shared a good laugh with a lot of random strangers (I dont mind small talk) to have a guy come up to me and said The Lord wanted him to pray with me. After we finished, he asked what church I went to, he immediately was like yalls deacon seemed like a good guy, whats your name? When I told him who I was, he was speechless literally. I told him dont be shocked because regardless I will still smile because God is there. 2. Ive had someone told me that through my own strength they were able to tell a doctor their son is healed and to this day his is still doing good. 3. Just recently there was a guy that trained with me and his son did too. We has been at the gym, laughing and joking for more than 6 months and when he finally found out who I was he was shocked at how happy I always seemed and that has been an ongoing response from a lot of people. I say all that to say this, life is not for the faint at heart. You have to have a stubborn resilient no holds barred attitude to commit to stay positive and strong. Its things that are meant to take you out. Things that are meant to distract your from your purpose and I just recently was ministered to and studied that because men are made for the head, if the devil can take out the head, he has the whole body. So I LACK (yes I said it) of leadership as men has, and continuously will be tested, daily. I just pray that you learn to develop your own personal relationship with God. Not how TV, media or society makes it out to be. Not entirely how your pastors teach it because they are there to help you and they serve a very mighty and important purpose but you cant do better if you dont learn to help yourself. Stay strong people, no matter what. Folks are leaving this earth left and right over petty drama and emptiness and I just pray that you have the strength to pray and seek God but also reach out to someone that may help you get started. I try to be careful and not exercise my beliefs in front of man because it can easily look like Im boasting for myself but God gets the glory all the time in my life, daily, when I open my eyes and when I close them at night. Somebody needed that message of hope. I love you all and I promise your best days are ahead of you, you just gotta believe it.
