In this fascinating little documentary from the 1970s, the great Henry Miller (writer, free-thinker, friend of Anais Nin) gives a tour of his bathroom. I had the sense he was a working-class guy turned litterateur (perhaps America is especially conducive to this type of transformation). He mispronounces some words, much as I do, simply because he didnt grow up in a milieu in which such words were bandied. I loved his wealth of trivia. I think I would like to be like him when I grow up.
