In this weeks edition of Things Natalia Has Introduced To Her Life To Bribe Herself Into Being Fitter and Healthier, we have the Garmin vivofit (a clever band that measures steps, sleep, etc) and a pink pair of Solo2 Beats by Dre headphones. Bribing yourself with new things is an awesome way to keep to your fitness and training goals - hopefully now Ill be really motivated to smash out my training sessions for the Blackmores Bridge Run in September... If youre on a budget, decide on something that youd really like (a new pair of running shoes? A pair of Skins? A fitness tracker?) and pop a dollar into a piggy bank every time you work out. After a few months, you should hopefully have enough to get whatever it is that you wanted. Alternatively, sign up for an event and set yourself a goal. Maybe you want to run 5km in under half an hour? Awesome. If you manage it, you have permission to buy yourself whatever you like as a reward - and as motivation to get you to the next 10km run, the next half-marathon, the next full-marathon... skys the limit!!
