In this weeks episode of Just How Bat-shit Crazy is the Far Right? we have the following entry: Caller to the Rush Limbaugh show: I did want to say that I think its mighty suspicious that Ebolas been around for a couple of years or more and all of a sudden one month before the election we have the outbreak. And not only that, but that the patients that have been brought here are in hospitals in red states. And just kind of interesting that, you know, if you want to scare people away from the polls or away from those states, thats a very quick way to do it. Yes, people on the far right actually believe this kind of crap. Limbaugh, in discussing this said: It may be bordering on a little bit of kookiness, but Im more interested in how it is that an intelligent, apparently reasonable-sounding woman can even start thinking of this. My point is that look at what this administration is spawning, all the conspiracy theories and all of the concern. I think its amazing. Actually, maybe I should flag this as a nominee for the Chutzpah Hall of Fame instead. It takes a massive amount of gall for a guy who trades in creating conspiracy theories to accuse the =administration= of spawning them. This is the climate of fear and despair that the far right has been sowing among its followers. (By the way, there is no doubt of the accuracy of these quotes; I cut and pasted them directly from Limbaughs website.)
