In this week’s installment of Ask Peter, I answer an email from Ron Keifer from Darien who asked what the government is doing to eliminate wasteful spending. Just this week, the House Ways and Means Committee introduced the Protecting Integrity in Medicare (PIMA) Act, which includes a number of bipartisan proposals that I’ve been working on for the past three years to end Medicare fraud. This legislation will save taxpayers millions of dollars and help protect these critical safety net programs.
