In those moments that I become extremely self conscious about my figured I quickly think about the women in my life that would die to be in my shoes and to have my tiger stripes. The proof that I have been through the wondrous miracle of carrying and giving birth to a child. And in those moments, I am so ashamed of myself. 2 years ago, I wanted nothing more than to become pregnant. So yes, I can say that I understand how it is to have so many friends with children, and to wonder if something is wrong because I had none myself. But now Justin and I have an amazing boy, who is sooo much more than I ever prayed for, plus I have the tiger stripes and the belly to show for it. But I do my best not to be ashamed, for I would never trade him for the best body the world has to offer.
