In times of crisis it is where we must be at our best in innovation,creativity. The solutions that we seek must be practical and pragmatic.However there are financial situations that we cannot ignore. So it is that we in Aruba have that solemn duty to our currency and monetary policy.We have no choice to pay our international financial obligations and after being downgraded by world financial institutions it makes matter worse as to borrow money with less interest. People like to refer to Iceland but Aruba being part of the Dutch Kingdom is a different situation.So to keep floating we must also pay our interest to not devault as Argentina. Next thing is to maintain our social funds solvable and guaranteed.But to keep track with this huge financial obligations we must jump start the economy otherwise there would not be the back up. WE need jobs and jobs providers.We need to create new jobs.Besides of long term plan more urgent we need short terms economic plan.My personal view goes to small business,fiscal reform and to produce more locally for our own market.My view is about solar energy and many more so I urge everyone to participate with ideas how we can move Aruba forward.Our ideas matters.Share your view how we can continue, how we can re-built our nation back.It doesnt have to be on my wall. Share your view anywhere and address your opinion to those who are in charge not only governments institutions but private and commercial as well.We cannot sit and wait for others to think for us.We must start debating ourselves how to recover from this deep valley that we are in so one day we all are back on that highest mountain of prosperity and happiness.Stop the blaming and start working together.
