In times of mushroom picking in nordic forests! ADVICE ON APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR if you run into one or more of these animals! Hopefully you will be all alone with the mushrooms! If you meet a MOOSE – RUN! If it is a moose cow with a calf – RAN even faster! It you meet a wolf – SHOW THAT YOU ARE A HUMAN BEING! But do not frighten it too much. It it is trying to attack your dog use a stick to keep it away! If you meet a STRAY DOG – DO NOT LOOK IT INTO ITS EYES! Especially it it appears aggressive. Your looking can make him feel challenged by you. Just take it easy and move away! It you meet a BEAR – SHOW THAT YOU ARE A HUMAN BEING! If it does not seem to understand that talk calmly, back off.
