GUN RUNNING: DSS NABS OWN OFFICER IN JOS Department of State Security (DSS), has nabbed one of its seniour officer in charge of Jos North Local Government Area, serving with the Plateau State Command over an alleged involvement in gun running in the state. Blueprint gathered from a reliable source, that the officer whose name was giving as Mr M.G. Damina, was the armoury officer in charge of the state headquarters. The source said Damina was arrested about a week ago, following confession by a paddler, that was arrested on the 28 February 2014, with guns in Bauchi, who later indicted Damina as one of their leader. He was suspected and was put on suvelance. He was arrested and some guns were found in his house, the source added. Blueprint had on March 11- 2014 reported, the arrest of arms paddler a native of Kwala village of Quanpan LGA in Plateau State with 15 AK47 rifles concealed in his Toyota car in Bauchi, while making his journey for delivery into Plateau State.
