In western countries, we see and hear of women dating and getting married and when we look closely, we see that the woman looks older than her husband and in most cases, is actually older than him! Sometimes, as much as 18 years older! But down here, when we see a guy dating someone who is like 2 or 3 years older, the guy is asked if he is crazy, blind or jazzed. Most mothers cry and plead with their sons to leave a girl they are dating, once they find out the girl is older than their son. Now my question is, why is it weird and frowned upon for a man to date/ marry an older woman in these parts? Even when the woman is not significantly older than the man. Even girls who love a guy madly have broken off relationships just because they found out they were older than the guys they were dating. What is wrong with a woman being older than a guy in a relationship? Let me have your thoughts on this, please.
