Inala Skatepark Upgrade. Brisbane City Council is planning an upgrade of the skate facility located in D.J. Sherrington Park at the corner of Inala Avenue and Blunder Road, Inala. We need your help to shape the design! A key aspiration of Brisbanes Vision is that Brisbane will be a city of diverse and accessible recreational opportunities for all ages, abilities and backgrounds. Council has committed to funding the upgrade of the Inala Skate Park to cater for the interests, needs and safety of current and future generations of skate facility users. Council has engaged the services of experienced designers to prepare concept designs for the upgrade of Inala Skate Park. The preparation of draft and final concept designs will take place between September-December 2014, with construction of the upgrade in 2015. Council will host an information session for the community to share their ideas and aspirations for the skate park grade, including feedback on the draft concept design.
