Inbox Helpful Comments only Private post please x Hello, I am looking for some advice, my dad has recently had another baby with his girlfriend he has been with for 12 years, as im in foster care im trying my best to plan my christmas with him, hes been avoiding me text and calls, and messages me today saying the baby has been in hospital for a couple days but he has text my sister but hasnt told us both till today, hes girlfriend doesnt like me and my sister at all, we dont understand why, ive done my best to be the best daughter a dad could ask for and he jusy argues with me, at the start of the year I was rushed into hospital in a bad condition due to me self harming, overdosing trying to kill my self, I feel so low about life that I feel its going to be my last christmas so I want to make it special, im nearly 16 soon too. I just dont know what to do about my dad and his girlfriend, I feel bang out of order for not givign him a specific time on seeing him. But he lives 5 hours away, I have always made effort to go and see him but he has never made effort to see me, I feel like a useless daughter that he aint bothered about, need some advice on how to get my dad to listen and tell me he does care 😢 feel so alone Steph x
