Inbox: I just ask that you keep my marriage in your prayers. My husband and I have been married going on 5 years. He deployed the month of our first anniversary. He came back a different man than I married. We struggled with communication, affection, intimacy, trust, and just about everything else. We went to marriage counseling before he got out of the marine corps, he was getting individual counseling as well. Things started to improve, he was on medication, we started communicating with me, hes told me majority of what went on in Afghanistan. But still to this day we have battles. He blames me for almost everything. He takes everything out on me, verbally. I keep going back and forth with bitterness and anger towards him. I feel like giving up on our marriage. I dont know what to do. I feel like Im walking on egg shells. I stress over him, finances and everything else. He stopped taking his medication, gave up on therapy and the va. Hes becoming indecisive with work and school, he doesnt allow me to use/look at his phone, which causes me to not trust him. Which in the past hes given me reasons to not trust him. I feel like all of the hard work weve put into this marriage is gone and that were back to square one. There is so much more I can vent about. I apologize for this long message. I just dont know what else to do. No one in our families knows what were truly going through. I need help.
