Increase in GST not to effect common man: Pervez Rashid ISLAMABAD, Jun 19 (APP): Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervez Rashid said that one percent increase in GST would not effect common man in the country. Basic commodities of life including pulses, meat, spices, medicines etc were exempted from General Sales Tax (GST), he added. Talking to a private TV channel, he said that government had formed mechanism to stop the leakages of agriculture tax in the country, adding that provinces were responsible to collect agriculture tax.
