Incredible day again! First, I preached at a small HEARING - TopicsExpress

Incredible day again! First, I preached at a small HEARING congregation. I spoke on our God.... HIs attributes (several) and compared HIM to gods and goddesses, and heathen idols. One lost man in attendance who may be closer to making a decision for Christ. I peaches in English but was translated into the Nepali language. Lunch at the home of Pastor Bimal Gurung, then to the Deaf church plant about 1/4 mile from the Bangladesh border. Normal attendance ranges from 5-12, but we had close to 30 today! I preached about David and Goliath, and I am not sure if any of them had ever heard the story before, based on their reactions. I preached outside while the Deaf spread out on a long porch. I thank God for helping me communicate with these Deaf.... since I do not speak their languages. A couple of Deaf came from Bangladesh, while the others are from India. All but 6 were men... mostly single ones. This is a Bible study... turning into a church! Praise the Lord! Afterwards, we walked to the river and took pictures across the river into Bangladesh. Josh Pate was with me. We had a great time. We also got some great photographs on the way back to the main church.... Mountainview Biblical Baptist church. Then I had to speak to a group of married couples in the evening. That went well, although I spoke more from my heart and head, than from any notes. I praise God for the preparation of life an ministry from the past to be able to have so much to share... even at the last moment. Wonderful.... wonderful day. Praise God. I keep telling folks, like Josh Pate, that I have the BEST JOB in the world. He is also loving the trip so far. Amen. I will be spending 3 hours with two new church planters on Monday. Pray for this opportunity to impact their lives. They are needing some tough counsel, and I trust God will work in their lives in a great way, and that they will be fruitful and effective in their church planting ministries. Thanks again for all your prayers. I hope to post more photos on Monday.
