Incredible work being funded in the San Antonio area! More than $1 million in grants was recently awarded by Susan G. Komen San Antonio to nine community organizations that address breast cancer needs in the area. Nearly half of the grants awarded will go toward clinical breast exams, mammograms and biopsies; another large percentage will be used for support services, such as surgery, chemotherapy, counseling and transportation.
