Incredibly grateful for all of the amazing birthday wishes this past weekend. Such a beautiful reminder of all the various love and life experiences Ive had in my life. From my early childhood to the many moments Ive had in so many corners of the globe, this is the one day of the year when my entire universe collides together. To hear from friends in Pakistan, India, South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, Gambia, Zambia, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Egypt, England, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Australia, Peru, Brazil, Jamaica, Canada, etc, etc. To hear from my past lives at Gonzaga, at Disney World, from New York, the Clinton School, Semester at Sea, elementary school and high school, my club soccer team, the Matthew Shepard Foundation, my colleagues at Futures Group; all of these intersections of my life.... wow. So blessed and I so appreciate every well wish that I received on my special day. Special shout out to my family and best friends who reminded me of the most beautiful parts of my life and the deepest levels of love I truly know:) Sarah, Melissa, Amy, Megan, Chad, Caitlin, Diane, Robyn, Michael, Beth, Barry, Amanda, Andrew- Thanks for being there for me always and forever. I love that family for me is far beyond the chance of genetic connection, but truly the beautiful spaces weve created together in years past and also in years to come:) Here is to a year of Praxis!
