Independence is not true strength. Trusting and surrendering to - TopicsExpress

Independence is not true strength. Trusting and surrendering to the fact that we as broken and dark hearted humans are in need of a savior, is strength. Being strong enough to admit that you are not invincible. Being strong enough to admit that you are not able to control your life. Being strong enough to admit that you were made for more than what you are going through now. True strength and courage is in meekness. In brokenness is where true courage is birthed. I am unashamed to say that I need a savior. I need someone much bigger than myself... My heart is dark, disgusting, and broken. And I know if I try living this life on my own I will end up empty, lonely, and depressed. But I out all my dependence on God. Every aspect of my life I surrender to Him. And in return, I get a life I could have never imagined. I get a heart that is full, healed, and stronger than ever. I get to know and love God, the same God who created the universe, I get to commune with on a daily basis. True strength is not independence. True strength is dependence. m.youtube/watch?v=kO_BAfkM438
